Our Goals

Between the Lines is dedicated to investigatiing under-explored aspects of the literacy crisis in South Africa. Through in-depth articles authored by Makhanda-based journalists, we provide a platform for sharing insights, experiences, and solutions to enhance literacy. Our content serves not only as a repository for vital stories but also aims to spark dialogue about what is needed to move the needle on literacy in Makhanda, the Eastern Cape and across the country.
